There have never been problems in the process of mastering a typewriter. In addition, the instruction is duplicated in video master classes built into the memory of the machine itself - for those who are better off seeing than reading 100 times. It’s convenient to switch to them if you are already on some kind of operation and want to remember how to act here. I haven’t tried much yet - for example, embroidery with cords - well, not all at once, and dump in one post!

Example. I used a seam in the form of stars (and the remains of the same fabric). This seam is not only possible to change in size (in the end, it made the same size and shape of the stars as on the fabric), but also to make a single embroidery in the form of stars. At the same time, the machine itself, having finished embroidering the star, cuts and hides the remains of threads inside from the inside. Very comfortably.

On the yoke, the seam is made of one solid gold stars, and on the pocket just “added” single gold embroidered - it turned out like a third fabric - a companion. On the inserts on the sleeves (there was very little fabric, the sleeves were “assembled” from small pieces) - also by an asterisk “in the corners”.

Trimming with trim - Pts. high-quality (in general ALL seams are high-quality and beautiful - much more professional, smoother, sharper than in JANOME 23, for example). And there is a separate plate for a professional straight seam - it turns out like in the old Singer!).

A choice of several seams overcast. I picked up not the best, perhaps for knitwear - but for cotton it is more than enough.

Convenient for those who do not have an overlock (although they are among the owners "="://brother-friends. ru/?p=271">Brother Innov-is Ie", probably a little) or just for those cases where getting out and filling the overlock is lazy. Moreover, you don’t need to do any special gestures to install the knife: it's like installing a foot, using exactly the same macar and takes 10 seconds, reconfiguring nothing in the machine not necessary!

But it turned out to be difficult to reconfigure in a second to a much smaller size (as it should be in the back), and I have not mastered the programs yet (I hope it will be as easy to use with them as with the instructions). So I had to take that design, which was pressed harder in size by the usual buttons "+" and "-".

It became such a cat. He has one foot sewn separately. Therefore, I decided to embroider her in my pocket, and the cat, as it were, “inside”. It turned out to be very convenient to do using a video camera. It does not so much remove the process as it works as a “scanner”. First you “scan” the area and then embroider over it, observing on the screen how this cross “photo” moves the cross in the place where the machine is now sewing.

What is convenient - when she embroiders, you don’t need to sit near her! You can calmly take a shower or wash dishes in the kitchen, or even receive guests / watch a movie - from time to time coming up to change the threads (when she flashes all the areas that should be white, for example, she melodifies to come up and put the threads of a different color) . This design, of such size and density, was embroidered for an hour and a half (at the minimum embroidery speed, though - the maximum speed is more than 1000 stitches, the minimum is 300). During embroidery, the screen displays, among other information, how many thread and stitch colors are “behind”, how many “embroider” is left + the time that embroidery will take + how much time has passed.

Returning to the cat. I embroidered a paw in my pocket. I pinned a pocket with a ready paw to the shelf of a future blouse.

She scanned everything on the hoop together.

On the screen, using the “left-right” and “up-down” buttons combined the “paw” and the pocket with the cat, so that it would appear as if he was sitting on the pocket. And she removed her pocket. Then she embroidered a cat at this place, and then sewed a pocket with her paw ON IT - as if he was sitting IN THE POCKET, and the paw was outside.

A little paw and tail did not enter - but the pattern did not shrink anymore.

The final photos are “night”, taken in the electric light at half-past six, because they sewed at night, and in the morning the daughter went to school in it.

And I completely neglected her here. Lyalya wanted a “red” cat, and the threads that I selected for him on my own (two mixed colors and three pure ones) did not look beautiful in the end in one embroidery, it turned out to be too “contrast” and harsh.
