Graduates of the gymnasium of the Serbian city of Pirot decided to abandon expensive dresses and costumes at the graduation party in order to give the saved money to sick children. During the campaign “Your Five Minutes of Brilliance - Someone's Whole Life”, schoolchildren and name="cut" rel="nofollow"/> teachers collected 310,000 dinars, the money was transferred to three families with seriously ill children.
In the gala hall of the Gymnasium, money was transferred for the 12-year-old Predrag Potic, who is suffering from cerebral palsy, the 11-year-old Matei Lazarevich, who underwent seven operations, and the five-year-old Cheda Tosic, also suffering from cerebral palsy and who started walking after a recent operation.
After the celebrations in the gymnasium, the graduates walked through the center of the city in t-shirts with the inscription “Your five minutes of brilliance is someone's whole life.” Graduates say that they wanted to do something to be remembered, as well as provide an example for future generations.
Delighted.
