Titanium blades fell in love for their hypoallergenic qualities. After contact with the cutting elements, some people experience a rash and allergic irritation. In the case of titanium, this is out of the question. In addition, knives made of titanium alloy are not subject to abrasion, and therefore, are not dull. However, the carbide surface makes it difficult to grind the knives, the machine does not work smoothly, sometimes even rough.

Ceramics creates one advantage - it facilitates the overall weight of the machine. A lightweight device is easier to operate. Of the minuses - fragility. Once you drop the machine, you can permanently damage it. Fragile ceramic knives are more likely to crack faster than others.
