It is very important to remember that the background is the background. He should support you in the photo, and not score. That is, it does not have to be a beautiful place with a beautiful view. It may be ugly, but correct) This is not always obvious, but photos of business suits and formal coats on park paths look strange, and jeans and a sweater in an urban environment may seem like a Cinderella costume before the transformation. Therefore, the first thing I try to determine the genre is what this bow is for. Walking - go to the forest, to the promenade, to the park, in the bushes near the house. Light is the main feature. With the right light, a nice photo can even turn out on the iron to a phone with the simplest camera or to an ordinary soap box. Not every DSLR can handle the wrong one (in a dark room or in harsh light on a sunny day), even with a flash, and slanderous excuses “iPhone such an iPhone” will be needed.

Here the rule is simple:

- it should be very light around - it is best to shoot in the afternoon, in natural light. If you are not in a bright room with large windows, it is best to go outside.

- BUT the light should not be sharp and shine directly in the eye - otherwise it will turn out nasty sharp shadows, overexposure on one side and blackness on the other. Or a face evenly lit by the bright sun turns into a thick pancake.

The ideal option is ambient light: a cloudy day; sunny day, but photos in the shadow of the building, etc. Of course, a good photographer with a good camera and some additional equipment will take a good photo under any conditions. But I'm not writing for the pros.
