The fabric is light, flowing, not too transparent, otherwise it will be necessary to make a cover for the dress. For drapery, we take the same fabric, but, to make it more interesting, a different color. For drapery, there is always light fabric, which can lie in folds.

Choose the length of the product yourself. The optimal length for this model is 65 cm from the waist line along the middle of the back.

Farther to the left 3 cm from the extreme point of the shoulder section - this will be the new point of the line of the shoulder section. Set aside 4 cm from the new point of the shoulder section line - the point of the top of the neck. We measure the distance from the top of the neck of the main pattern and the resulting one and transfer it to the line of the shoulder section of the back.

Undercut for bulge bulge: to improve the fit in the armhole area, reduce its length by 0.5 cm at the shoulder cut line. Draw a smooth curve line cuts. Neckline deepen along the midline by 3 cm and reduce the length of the neck by 0.5 cm along the midline of the back. Waistline on the front, draw a smooth curve 3 cm above the waist line of the main pattern at right angles to the line of the middle of the front to the side cut line of the waist.

The line of the middle of the tuck along the waist of the base drawing is extended along the bottom line - the resulting line will be needed to expand the front part. The solution of the lower part of this tuck is subsequently transferred to the direction of the bottom line.

The most attractive in this dress is Drapery. We make it a length equal to the selected length of the neck of the front, draw so that the line in the middle of the front gives a right angle. The insert is bent along the midline.

Draw waistline on the back in accordance with the drawing. We draw tucks above the cut line of the waist, below this line, the tuck solution is transferred to the bottom line of the back.

We expand the front and back details along the line of the side sections and in the bottom area by 5-10 cm. You can experiment and increase this size twice or n-times. Creative experiment - great power! But don’t get carried away too much! Otherwise, a beautiful and elegant dress may appear not very graceful folds on the sides and a straight overhang in front and back!

Details cut out. Close the remainder of the chest tuck solution on the front part. Align cut lines. Make slices along the intended lines. Connect the sides of the lower parts of the tucks along the waist at the front and back and unfold the parts of the parts at the bottom line by 10 cm each. For the integrated fold, add x2.5 cm to the midline of the front. Indicate the direction of the warp.
