I chose this very pattern, because in it I liked the hood with a high collar in the overlap. I will sew a sweatshirt without a zipper, for this the pattern of the shelf was glued to the zipper marks. I also decided to sew Hoodies from two colors, for this I cut the pattern in the right places for me. From the armhole down I measured 1.5 cm on the shelf, back and on the sleeves and cut it in a straight line.

We cut the details of the pattern, adding 1.5 cm to the seams on each side. If you sew from thinner knitwear, then we add not 1.5, but 1 cm to the seams. Also due to the fact that I sew from thick knitwear with a fleece, in the neck I added only 0.5 cm to the seams. The following details: shelf, back, 2 sleeve details and 3 hood details. You will also need cuffs and a pocket (more about them later in the article).

I drew a pattern of a kangaroo pocket of the size I needed on the pattern of the shelf, cut it out and transferred it to the knitwear, adding 1.5 cm to the seams on each side.

We glue the edges of the entrance to the pocket from the wrong side with doubler and overcast the edges of the entire pocket on the overlock.

We bend the edges of the pocket to the wrong side 1-1.5 cm, iron and wring (except for the lower cut). We lay the finishing lines along the edge of the entrance to the pocket, where it is marked with a double dotted line.

We put the kangaroo pocket on the shelf part and take it. Then we lay the finishing lines, which are also marked with a double dotted line.

To make the seams even, you can use such a foot for a blind seam.

We put the shelf and back on top of each other face to face and grind the side and shoulder sections, where marked with clips.

We pass to the sleeves.

Stitch the details of the sleeves, where marked with clips for fixing the fabric.

We sew the sleeves into the armhole, fitting the sleeve around the okat.

We turn to the cuffs. The width of the cuffs and the hem is 15 cm, length = cut length x 0.9 (if you sew them from riba or cashmere, then multiply by 0.8).

We bend them and grind them into a ring, as noted by the clips.

Then bend in a circle so that the seams remain inside.

We sew the cuffs into the sleeves, and the garter into the lower section of the sweatshirt.

Iron the seam of the tie up and lay the finishing line. This is convenient to do with the foot for a blind seam.

It remains only to sew a hood.

Stitch the hood details together. I also made finishing stitches.

Hood trim on the details of the patterns of the hood. I cut a 4 cm wide grinder and ground the parts together.

We put the hem on the hood face to face and grind, where marked with clips. We wrap the second cut of the facing on the overlock.

We are ironing. At this stage, grommets can be installed.

We bend the hem on the wrong side of the hood and lay a straight line along the edge of the hem.

Stitch the hood in the neck of a sweatshirt.

A hoodie sweatshirt with a kangaroo pocket is ready.

The costume for the eldest daughter is ready.

Veronica is 8 years old, height 134 cm. She took a pattern for height 140 cm (there is a margin).

For the youngest daughter, I made the same suit, only the colors of the footer on my sweatshirt combined in a different way.

Katerina is 5 years old, height 114 cm. She took a pattern on a height of 116 cm, extended her legs and sleeves by 2 cm, so that there was also a reserve. The suit is also with a small margin for growth.
