Dear residents, I present to you my version of the re-use of jeans. A sufficient number of “insufferable” jeans have already accumulated, to throw out which the hand does not rise, so we think, redo, create. name="cut"/>

There were 2 pairs of lightweight jeans and a morally outdated, well-worn jeans shirt, photos, unfortunately, are not.

I really wanted a denim dress, there are a lot of models for inspiration on the network, but I can’t build patterns, I usually sew from magazines, so to speak - a journal self-taught person.

From Burda I picked up a model suitable for the existing fabric and with a pattern that can “transform” into patchwork.

I tidied up all the little things, washed and stroked the resulting flaps - washing and ironing - mandatory processes when sewing from old things, otherwise there may be undesirable surprises.

Here is the resource.

Slightly cut the pattern, in accordance with the available fabric re - divided the sleeves of the one-piece front and back into two parts.

Cut it.

From the light jeans came the lower parts of the dress and the lower parts of the sleeves.

From the back and sleeves of the shirt, the upper parts of the dress and the parts of the neckline turned out.

Of dark jeans, the sides of the dress and cuffs.

Collected the front and back of the dress.

I sewed shoulder seams, sewed in the side parts, sewed the neck with a stitching, sewed cuffs and hemmed the hem, and did not make pockets.
