Jon Snow (Kit Harington) only wants to do the right thing. He lives to serve, whether that’s as a member of the Night’s Watch, or as Daenerys Targaryen’s lesser half. But who knew that the rightful heir to the Iron Throne is also a makeup artist? Turns out that Jon Snow has skills up his leather sleeve that we never saw coming. A behind-the-scenes photo from the final episode of Game of Thrones has gone viral, showing Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) getting her face powdered by a makeup artist that looks suspiciously like the King in the North.
Twitter user @TARGYARYEN shared the image, with a caption reading “i have so many questions.” All of us here at Teen Vogue have a lot of questions, too. In the photo, Maisie is in total zen mode while getting her face touched up by the Kit doppelganger. As the particular scene was filmed in Spain during the summer, the actors undoubtedly needed lots of touch-ups. But what we really want to know is what beauty products he’s carrying in his belt bag — Is there a setting spray he swears by? And what’s his favorite Glossier product? And most importantly, can Jon Snow do our makeup next time we visit Westeros?
While this certainly looks like Kit, it’s possible that it’s just a crew makeup artist that looks like him. Still, Kit’s character was not in the scene at the dragonpit, so maybe he was just hanging out with his fellow castmates and decided to slay their looks for the day. We would also like to point out that Sophie Turner and Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who play Sansa and Bran Stark, are also seen in the photo cracking up, confirming our suspicion that this really is Harington in his best MUA disguise. Jon Snow truly is ready to pitch in wherever help is needed.
