More than a year ago, I saw a picture of a sweater with an interesting balloon pattern from Marcus Lupfer on the interest. As often happens, I forgot about her. Looking at my boards a couple of times, I came across a saved pin, noting that I could repeat this thing several times cheaper and from more dense knitwear.

Here is the of inspiration:

A piece of gray footer was found in the remnants of the tissue, reminiscent of an interesting idea. I don’t like to repeat exactly, so it was decided to sew a T-shirt instead of a sweater.

The style was chosen as simple as possible: a fitted rectangle. To fit the T-shirt well, I lowered the shoulder line. I also lowered the back slightly and made large lapels (I like the contrast I got).



How to repeat:

Determine the length of the shoulder, the length of the product, the width of the bottom and the depth of the armhole. Connect the top and bottom with a curly line. I did not want the thing to fit me, so the size of the neck and the width of the bottom line took much more.

But before cutting, I drew a balloon. First on paper, then circled the fabric along the contour. Painted with simple textile colors. She drew the thinnest lines with a pointed pen.

It remains to cut, complete the seams and to grind. The result was a cozy and beloved T-shirt.
