Meet the Natural Skincare Brand that Supports American Organic Farmers
Today it’s not just about natural skincare, but eco-conscious natural skincare – that is, a company that is truly giving back to the land they use for their products. Previously I was testing out Seed Phytonutrients’ hair care products, before learning that they also put their same eco-friendly principles into skin care! All of their products are vegan, eco-conscious and sustainable, as well as support American organic farmers.
Seed Phytonutrients supports independent organic local farmers by paying for 100% of their crop up front, regardless of yield. This allows farmers to reinvest in their farms and plan for their future harvests. Supporting them provides hope for a thriving future of organic farming, which supports organic crops for years to come.
I have been using the Gentle Facial Cleanser (for my evening wash, as mornings I use only water), Superseeds Serum and the Ultra Rich Facial Cream. I’m loving the gentle cleanser its gel consistency removes makeup with ease. Not only do I love their product but it is so much more meaningful to support a brand that puts sustainability in the spotlight.
My favourite part is that once you are finished with a product, there is an heirloom seed packet in the Cleanser paperbottle so that you can plant and grow your own plants. Check out their website to learn more about their values and sustainable practices. I know you’re going to love them as much as I.
Their Gentle Facial Cleanser comes in a shower-friendly paper bottle (just like their haircare) and is made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper with a post-consumer recycled plastic liner, resulting in 60% less plastic than a traditional bottle. Seed Phytonutrients also works on new packaging innovations to reduce the use of plastic pollution in the beauty industry.
Seed Phytonutrients’ natural skincare uses organic ingredients including Camelina Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coconut Oil and Seaweed. To harvest the oils, they use cold press and expeller methods to extract oil from the seeds (as opposed to using chemical solvents). These methods use mechanical pressure to release the oil and while it takes more time, and produces less oil, they prioritize the integrity of the oils.
Hope you enjoy this brand as much as I, loves!
