Coqui Coqui

“I spent a long weekend recently in Valladolid and fell in love with the people, food, and pastel-colored buildings. There’s so much history in this town, and perhaps because it’s not oceanside, it has yet to be overrun with tourists. Coqui Coqui has two residences here—both chandelier-clad and the epitome of incredible taste. And when you need to escape the heat, call the folks at Aventuras Mayas. They know the best cenotes in town, including newly opened Chukum-Ha. It’s equipped with zip lines, kayaks, diving boards, and more.” —Jasmin Perez, creative director, social media

Blueland The Clean Up Kit
Blueland The Clean Up Kit

Blueland

“I wish I’d thought of Blueland first. Its brilliance lies in its simplicity: Three refillable ‘forever’ bottles along with three individually wrapped tablets are delivered to your doorstep. This is your household cleaning trifecta. You fill the bottles with warm water and drop in the corresponding tablets (multisurface, glass and mirror, and bathroom). In thirty minutes, the tablets have dissolved and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get down with the dirty—without parabens, phthalates, or VOCs.” —Diana Ryu, director of content operations

“I am one of those people who doesn’t take off her jewelry. I wear the same pieces pretty much every day. My new obsession is my evil eye necklace made by one of my favorite jewelry designers, Ariel Gordon. It is the perfect addition to my gold necklace stack—which means I’m never taking it off. It’s a perfect treat-yourself piece, and it also makes a perfect gift.” —Molly Kalinsky, manager, marketing & brand partnerships

Ristorante Daria
Ristorante Daria

Ristorante Daria

“There’s this spit of a town in the middle of Tuscany called Monticchiello. It’s ancient and lovely and tourist-free. The only reason you would go to Monticchiello is because you’re lost or you’ve come to eat at Daria. Daria Ristorante is warm and chic (just like the owner). It’s a genre I like to call ‘farmhouse modern.’ And oh man, the food. It’s every famous Tuscan dish—pici al aglione, cingale, pici al ragu—done better than anywhere else. Anytime I’m within a few hours’ drive of Monticchiello, I find a way to go to Daria so I can have a glass of rosso di Montalcino and a bowl of tagliolini al tartufo, warm and delicious and piled high with fresh truffles. And honestly, I usually have two of each. I’ve never told anyone about this place because I don’t want it to get so famous that I can’t get a table. But forget it—you can’t keep food this wonderful a secret.” —Danielle Pergament, editor in chief

Conscious Step

“My friend recently introduced me to Conscious Step, which designs and sells socks to fight for great causes, including ending violence against women, saving the oceans, protecting elephants—the list goes on. Each pair of socks is creatively designed to match whichever cause you want to support, and they also come in different gift boxes, which in my opinion makes them the perfect present not just for your more socially conscious friends but for anyone—because who doesn’t want to make the world a better place?” —Lydia Kim, senior director, merchandising operations

“No place does summer better than Nantucket, where we are lucky enough to have a pop-up this year. I wanted to offer something in the store that is fun for the local community, something that would be very goopy. And so Wellness Wednesday was born. Working with Health-Ade, my go-to for kombucha, we crafted killer probiotic mocktails to keep our clients going strong all summer long.” —Leila Benirschke, retail events manager

“This watch, which was designed by furniture designer Ini Archibong, is unisex, elegant, and modern. Archibong spent time looking over Hermès’s equestrian heritage, poring over the details of the iconic brand’s bit, harness, and stirrup designs for inspiration. He created a fluid and aerodynamic shape that reminds us to move forward with determination.” —Ali Pew, fashion director

Blow Me Away Salon

“We’ve all had a haircut gone wrong, which is why I dread letting anyone with scissors come close to me. After researching just about every hair salon on LA’s Westside, I found Blow Me Away, which proved that a haircut can actually be relaxing. The salon’s natural, inside-out approach to hair care goes a step further with a head spa that specializes in Japanese-method scalp revitalization. I had never heard of a head spa either, but I promise you it is life-changing (think aromatherapy, steam, head massage, hair mask, herbal tea). Request an appointment with salon owner Sayaka Lee if you can; she’s the absolute sweetest.” —Emma Elliott, graphic designer

Fitz Frames

“My eyeglasses never fit when I was a kid. They would slide down the bridge of my nose. They’d feel too heavy and distract me in class. And I never liked the frame options. When I learned about Fitz Frames—a new company that creates custom-fit eyeglasses for children—I had a pang of empathy and relief for all the little ones who need good-fitting eyewear. Fitz is smart: You download the app and take a picture of your child’s face. The technology measures all the facial nuances—cheek angles, nose width, ear height—to ensure a precise fit. You pick a frame from the giant assortment, and your glasses are 3D-printed and shipped out. (You can also have your child’s name printed on the inside.) So easy. I wish I could put the app in a time machine.” —Stacey Lindsay, articles editor

Vibrant

“When I was first introduced to Vibrant in Houston, I was blown away by what a good fit it is for goop. The café is sugar-, gluten-, dairy-, corn-, soy-, and peanut-free; uses sustainable (solar) energy; is entirely non-GMO; works with local farmers; and most importantly, is super delicious. It’s sophisticated, fun, and great for everyone. And it has an incredible natural wine program and is female-run.” —Kelly Faulds, senior manager, wholesale

Eberjey

“I fly back to the East Coast a lot, which means I’ve had to find a way to get some solid sleep on the red-eye. Having an eye mask is key. This one from Eberjey is super soft, so it feels like I am not wearing anything at all. I put it on as soon as I sit in my seat and don’t take it off until I land.” —Liza Green, senior manager, client services
