Fans Think the Third "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" Movie Might Be Filming
Since the announcement of a sequel in December 2018, fans of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before have received exciting news about the franchise left and right, from major casting reveals to adorable behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The latest rumors surrounding TATB are actually whoa, whoa, whoa-inducing: The third movie just might be in the works.
As noted by Just Jared Jr., fans reportedly spotted stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo filming alongside fellow TATBILB cast members in New York City. Given that TATB: P.S. I Still Love You appears to have wrapped up shooting, it looks like To All the Boys 3 could potentially be underway. These photos from fans say it all:
On July 2, Noah fanned the flames with a characteristically cryptic tweet that simply reads, “It’s official.”
Sure, the cast could just be out and about filming promotional materials for movie number 2, but my inner hopeless romantic is clinging to the possibility that Netflix is planning to adapt all three of the novels in author Jenny Han’s To All the Boys trilogy. So far, they’ve done a great job staying true to the series in their work on the sequel, casting 13 Reasons Why’s Ross Butler as Peter Kavinsky’s best friend, selecting Jordan Fisher to play new love interest and OG letter recipient John Ambrose McClaren, and bringing back all of your favorites from the original movie, like Anna Cathcart as the mischievous Kitty Covey. TATB’s original director, Susan Johnson, served as executive producer on the second movie. After To All the Boys’ initial success, we have every reason to trust her judgement on the sequel; let’s just hope she has plans of making a third and final film.
