Hi Beauties!

I wanted to write this for all my fellow beauty sisters working in the beauty industry. We are in middle of the busiest season of the year for our businesses and I wanted you to know, I SEE YOU! I see you busting your butt to work in a service industry that a lot of times has no thanks. I see you working three jobs in a day and then rushing home to make dinner for your kids. I see you hustling to network and make the best connections possible to get your name out there. I see you doing research and taking all the continuing education you possibly can. I SEE YOU!

The beauty industry is filled with immense possibilities and I am so grateful for work! As a makeup artist my skills are what pays the bills but even more than that, those whom I surround myself with are the ones who can get me my next big break. I’m so grateful to have found a tribe of gals who, “GET IT.” They get that professionalism and communication are keys to a successful beauty business. They get that skills can be learned but attitude is who you are. We work face to face with women who struggle with things that we may never have the answer to but for just a few minutes we can offer some light at the end of the tunnel and leave them feeling like the queen they truly are!

In the middle of this busy season, take a minute to reflect on all the people you’ve encountered so far this year. Did you stop and take a min? Ok, now just think, ALL those men and women wouldn’t be the same without YOU. So I want you to know if no one has told you lately, I SEE YOU. Keep showing up and doing your best. Beauty always sees the best. The world is a better place because of YOU!
