Aladdin is officially in theaters, which means fans finally get to see the much-anticipated live-action portrayals of some of Disney’s most iconic animated characters. Even better: Some extra lucky moviegoers are getting the chance to meet — or at least glimpse — Princess Jasmine IRL.

Naomi Scott, who plays the princess of Agrabah in the movie, paid a surprise visit to Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre for a showing on Friday, May 24. “I popped into the @elcapitanthtre last night to see some awesome people about to watch our movie @disneyaladdin!” she wrote in a May 25 Instagram post, alongside a slideshow of snapshots (and one video) from her visit.

While there, the actress chatted and took photos with at least a few tiny fans — some of whom were dressed in their own Jasmine costumes. “Walked out of seeing Aladdin to see Princess Jasmine herself @NaomiScott stop in the lobby to absolutely make the night of two speechless young Jasmines,” actor Emerson Collins tweeted, along with a video of the encounter. “A people’s princess!”

If you weren’t at El Capitan to see Naomi yourself, you may still get a chance to catch the princess elsewhere. In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Aladdin in cinemas all around the world...can’t promise I’ll make it to every one, but might try and do some today ;)” We would say she probably can’t feasibly make it to more than a few theaters in one day— but with a magic carpet at her disposal, who knows where she might appear. Keep your eyes peeled!
