It’s been quite the ride to the top for Chase Rice. The singer/songwriter achieved massive success as a writer early in his career, penning the monster hit “Cruise” with Florida Georgia Line. Chase admits the past few years have been a roller coaster.

“The downs of the last few years have actually helped me appreciate this one a lot more because it was easy at first,” Rice said of his No. 1 hit “Eyes on You.“And then I saw how hard this industry is and when you actually see how tough it can be and then you still rise above that and still have a number one song it feels a whole lot better.”

Rice changed record labels and continued to write and put out music but never found the success he had hoped for as an artist, until now. His most recent song “Eyes on You” co-written with Ashely Gorley and Chris DeStefano has been number one for two weeks on the Billboard Country chart.

To celebrate, Rice partnered with Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire to throw the ultimate number one party with a few lucky fans.The contest winners were flown to the exclusive Boca Raton Resort and Club for a luxury beach vacation. They also boarded a private yacht with Rice for a cruise before being treated to a private pool-side show.

Next up, Rice will be releasing his next single, “Lonely if You Are,” due out June 7th. “Hopefully it will be my second number one song!” Chase adds
