5 Best Brunch Spots In Los Angeles
Do you live in LA and need a new restaurant to brunch at? Here are my top five recommendations for brunch in Los Angeles. You’ll obsess over these brunch spots and will come back for more time and time again.
1. Blu Jam Cafe
With locations in the heart of Downtown, on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, and in West LA, you’re bound to be close to at least one Blu Jam Cafe. Customers rave about their epic crunchy french toast; something you definitely won’t want to miss out on. It’s one of the best and busiest breakfast and brunch spots in LA, so definitely expect a little bit of a wait. Moderately priced, it serves all of your favorite brunch delicacies, such as eggs benedict, egg sandwiches, and some Mexican-inspired breakfast dishes. Portion sizes are decently large, and one might go as far as to say big enough to share. Don’t miss out on this spectacular brunch spot!
2. Bottega Louie
If you’re looking for more of a boujee brunch spot, Bottega Louie is the place to be. You’ve probably heard of this restaurant, or at least seen some of it’s famous macaroons on Instagram. A popular place to eat any time of the day, it does brunch pretty well, too. Located in the heart of Downtown, it’s a bit of a mission from the West side, but well worth the time spent to get there. They offer breakfast and lunch every day of the week, but a special brunch menu is available on weekends. Brunch classics are offered, as well as more unique dishes, such as lemon ricotta pancakes and lobster hash. If I haven’t sold it to you already, the restaurant’s interior is beautiful designed and aesthetically pleasing. Stop by Bottega Louie for an unforgettable brunch experience.
3. Cafe Vida
This Latin-inspired brunch spot is one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat in LA. With locations in both Pacific Palisades and Culver City, it’s easy to keep coming back for more if you’re on the West side. Breakfast foods are available until 12 on weekdays, but served longer on weekends. Perhaps one of the best parts about this spot is how healthy it is; all of it’s dishes are made with organic, wholesome ingredients. You won’t feel as heavy as you would after having a full meal at another restaurant. They also serve a variety of pressed juices and smoothies, to add some extra vitamins to your meal. If you’re looking to watch what you eat but also want to indulge in a great meal, Cafe Vida is definitely the place to be.
4. The Butcher’s Daughter
The Butcher’s Daughter is a great place to enjoy brunch on one of Los Angeles’ most popular streets. Located on Abbot Kinney, get your Venice breakfast fix at this unique restaurant. Serving a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options, there’s something for everyone at this trendy spot. Customers rave about their outstanding food experiences, as well as the decor. A light and airy interior is juxtaposed nicely with an outdoor patio, where you can people watch in the heart of Venice. The service is impeccable, and they also serve a strong cup of coffee (for those of you looking to dine with a hangover). Altogether, their healthy food options, aesthetic, and overall dining experience makes this another great LA brunch spot.
5. Marmalade Cafe
With locations offered in both Santa Monica and the iconic Farmer’s Market on Fairfax at The Grove, Marmalade is a great classic brunch spot. Serving all your favorite delicacies, indoor seating as well as outdoor on a patio is available.
